The Breast Enhancement Procedure

Breast augmentation and breast lift surgeries are both performed under general anesthesia. The breast enhancement procedure involves breast implant procedures, which include various types of breast implant surgery or breast lift surgery. For breast augmentation, an incision is made in one of three common locations: around the areola, under the breast fold, or in the armpit. The surgeon will insert either saline implants or silicone implants to increase breast size and improve shape. Saline implants consist of silicone shells filled with sterile saline and are often filled after being placed in the body, offering specific benefits for various patients.

Incisions are typically made around the areola and possibly down to the breast crease for a breast lift, depending on the degree of lift needed. The surgeon removes excess skin, tightens the breast tissue, and repositions the breasts higher on the chest for a more lifted appearance. If you choose to combine these procedures, they can be performed during the same surgery for optimal results.

Breast Surgery Results and Recovery

After your breast implant procedure or lift surgery, you will notice immediate improvements in the shape, size, and position of your breasts.
