The Eyelid Surgery Procedure

Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

The upper eyelid blepharoplasty addresses issues like puffiness and drooping skin that can obstruct your vision or affect your ability to apply makeup. Drooping eyelid skin and sagging upper eyelids are addressed during upper blepharoplasty eyelid surgery. During the procedure, your surgeon will remove excess eyelid skin and fat from the upper lids, restoring the smooth transition of the upper eyelid into the temple area. This surgery can be combined with forehead lift plastic surgery to reposition the eyebrow for a fully rejuvenated upper face.

Lower Lid Blepharoplasty

The lower lid blepharoplasty is designed to correct the “bags” under the eyes caused by fat herniation. An incision is made on the inside of the eyelid to remove the excess fat, restoring a smoother, more youthful contour to the lower lids.
