Awake Liposuction Procedure

During the procedure, a small incision is made in the targeted area, through which a laser fiber is inserted to liquefy the fat cells. The liquefied fat is then carefully suctioned out, sculpting and contouring the area. The laser also stimulates collagen production, leading to skin tightening in the treated area. The entire procedure typically takes one to two hours, depending on the treatment area, and since only local anesthesia is used, you can walk out the same day.

Awake Liposuction Results and Recovery

After Awake Liposuction, you may experience some mild soreness, bruising, or swelling in the treated areas, similar to post-workout fatigue. Most individuals can resume regular activities within a day or two, with more visible results emerging as the swelling subsides. Full results typically become evident within one to three months, as your body adjusts to its new contours and collagen production enhances skin tightening.
